The Realms of Asgard (TROA Inc.) is more than a gaming community—it’s a fellowship of explorers, creators, innovators, and advocates united by a shared purpose: to build safe, supportive, and meaningful spaces for all.
Founded by Icey in 2016 as The TROA Foundation, the organization officially launched its community in 2017, starting as a single Space Engineers server built as a safe haven for gamers. Respect, creativity, and belonging always mattered more than competition.
What began as a small group of friends building virtual worlds has grown into a global network that transforms gaming into a platform for community, growth, and advocacy.
Our Legacy
TROA’s roots trace back to 2016, when Icey began shaping what would become The Realms of Asgard Foundation—a vision built on leadership, respect, unity, and purpose. The community launched publicly in 2017 as a safe haven for gamers seeking real belonging.
Icey’s leadership journey goes back even farther—to 1999, when he founded Tactical Gaming, one of the earliest organized gaming communities in the world. After years of growth and success, he passed the mantle to TG Biggy, closing one chapter and opening the doors to TROA.
What started with one Space Engineers server evolved into a multi-galactic community spanning Empyrion, Stationeers, Star Citizen, No Man’s Sky, Elite Dangerous, Astro Colony, FiveM RP, and Minecraft.
