Europa #
Europa’s atmosphere allows for atmospheric and ion thruster-based ships to fly there, but there is too little oxygen to be breathable. There is no stone to be found for the Survival Kit to process, making Europa a challenging start to the game.
Oddly enough, Space Engineers has Europa orbiting Mars, but in reality, Europa is a moon of the planet Jupiter.
The planet’s atmosphere is thick enough that Wind Turbines can be used for power, but Solar Panels are always a reliable source of power when wind power is not optimal. The most common non-clear weather is snowfall.
The low gravity may pose a problem for rovers.
Europa’s terrain consists of rolling ice hills, ice valleys, and ice cliffs. The planet is basically composed of ice, and few other resources are available to those willing to dig deeper. Due to the amount of ice, it is best to make Europa a refueling station for Hydrogen-Based ships.
