This document outlines the use of the Administrative Monitoring ability that is available to all Junior Admin and above. To further clarify, this is the Adam/Alpha identifier in-game.

Administrative Monitoring is meant to be a tool used by administrators to monitor members or staff that have shown recent behavior or in-game issues in order to better gauge how they are roleplaying and acting within the game. In order to monitor someone, there must be a prior reason or reasonable suspicion of wrong-doing in order to do so. Abuse of this will result in it being taken away as a usable tool.

    If You Are Monitoring

    • You must be in god mode.
    • You must be invisible.
    • You should F2 as opposed to teleport.
    • You should record if you wish to have video evidence to support a claim.
    • You may approach players for an out-of-character conversation, but must make it very clear to them that's what it is when you do so. If you choose to do this, you do need to make yourself visible so they can be aware of your presence.

    If You Are Being Monitored

    • Roleplay as normal. You shouldn't even be aware that it's happening.
    • If you are approached for an out-of-character interaction, it is valid, and you will treat it as such.

If there are any issues with monitoring, please submit a formal complaint using the online form on our website
